Bethel Family Reunion

On Sabbath, October 8, 2022, Braxton invited Bria Sanford and Jemila Greenidge (former Bethel attendees) to sing with Bethel’s Praise Team, as we would have several PT members missing that week. From there, Jemila’s mother, father, siblings, and brother-in-law decided to support Jemila at Bethel. Braxton also invited Barry Walker and his son Isaiah to attend the church that day.

After church, the young adults had one big reunion, fellowshipping and talking for a few hours! Missy talked with Steven and Dr. Caroline Greendige (Jemila’s parents). We were thrilled to see the young adults connecting and enjoying the Sabbath.

This interaction sparked an idea from Caroline. She said, “we should have a Bethel reunion!”
And so, the ideas began…

A committee was formed, and the planning began!

Our focus is twofold.
1) We want to CONNECT with former and missing members! We want to reestablish connections and “listen” to them and put them at ease about returning to Bethel. What a REUNION this will be!

2) We want to have an AMAZING weekend, fellowshipping with one another and enjoying the goodness of God! Please see the calendar of events for the weekend below to see the full understanding of the VISION.

So you’re invited! Our community, family, and friends are to attend this celebration weekend! We are planning a 5-star spirit-filled weekend, and we want everyone to be blessed and draw closer to Christ as a result of this special weekend.
